The Heartsaver® for K-12 Schools course is designed for K-12 school students, faculty, coaches and staff. The card signifies that an individual in the K-12 school system has successfully completed the objective and skills evaluation in accordance with the curriculum of the AHA Heartsaver programs.
Participants will learn how to recognize emergencies, perform high-quality CPR for adults, children, and infants, safely use an automated external defibrillator (AED), and provide first aid for common injuries such as bleeding, choking, burns, allergic reactions, and sudden illnesses.
Upon successful completion, participants will receive an AHA Heartsaver certification valid for two years. No Written exam required.
